Called RE-LEAF (pronounced like "relief"), this functional prototype has been modified to be able to evolve on roads covered with debris. Among its specificities are weather-resistant sockets mounted directly outside the vehicle, Nissan RE-LEAF can power 110-230 volt devices.

Acting as a mobile power station, the latest generation of Nissan RE-LEAF e+, with a 62 kWh battery, can provide enough electricity to power a household for six days.
