Black seed extract, which is also known as Nigella sativa oil, kalonji oil, or black cumin seed oil is recommended by different religions and ancient cultures. In Islam, Muslims call the black seeds Habbat al-Barakah, which literally means the blessed seeds. They have the belief that these blessed seeds will heal any sort of illness, except death since the prophet Muhammed once said: “The black seed can heal every disease, except death”.
