Prosperity Social & Community Development Group, Inc. (PSCDG) was created to provide social services to the under-served residents of Miami-Dade County. This non-profit organization was established in Florida in August 2011 and attained our 501 (c) (3) status in July 2013. A month later, in August 2013 PSDCG launched its first pilot program in the city of North Miami. This is a literacy program targeting Haitians and other immigrants who struggle with English as a second language. In April 2014, PSCDG started a new program. The Women and Girls N.O.W. project was created to provide literacy and job readiness to women and girls throughout the county. PSCDG also executed a literacy summer camp program in 2014 and 2015 targeting children from low income areas with the expectation of carrying it on to subsequent summers if funding is available.
