A group of scientists from Duke University in the United States compared 14 popular face masks to find out which ones will help protect us. The researchers took not only classic medical masks but also fleece collars and bandanas. Using a special installation with a powerful laser, scientists recorded the number of microdroplets released. They compared the result with measurements of control testing, during which a person uttered a phrase without protective equipment.
